how to remove ambi safety

I just bought my first 1911, a Norinco 1911A1 two tone. I,m stripping it down to clean the packing grease and can't seem to figure out how to disassemble the ambi safety. I've watched the disassemble video on this sight, but it only shows how to remove a single sided safety. Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks.

Disassembly is much the same for an ambi safety as a single side. You have to move the thumb safety to the "sweet spot" - a point neither engaged nor disengaged. Then holding it there, use a small flat blade screwdriver near the post to gently separate the two halves of the thumb safety. With a little force it should separate and come out.

I'm not sure if it is the same as my Para but on it you have to remove the grips to remove the safety.
