I have a Colt XSE LtWt Commander that needs all of the sharp edges beveled. It's eating my holsters. :(

Which places do good gunsmithing work. I have considered EGW and Drake's Gun Works. I saw these mentioned in another thread and the work seemed to be top notch, any other opinions on these two gunsmiths.
Any other suggestions.

Why not just buy a set of jewelers files from Brownells and do it yourself? A carry bevel really isn't much more than just breaking the sharp edges. It's not a "melt" job.

I have thought about doing this myself but I have never tried anything like this before. This may give me an excuse to buy another cheaper 1911 and try my skills on it first. :-D

Metal, don't know which part of the Bluegrass you are in, but Gemini Customs is located in Frankfort:

Carry bevel job is $150

Drake is great, and so is Jim Garthwaite (http://www.garthwaite.com/) . Both are friends.
