Anyone know where to get 1911 frames with a full length rail like the SA Operator's when they first came out?

Caspian makes some frames with rails.

Caspian's Recon Rail frame has a standard length dust cover with a rail on the bottom. I believe the OP is asking for a frame with a rail extending the full length of the slide. I don't know of anyone offering that configuration.

Sorry about that...

Nothing to be sorry about. I was going to suggest Caspian, too, until I re-read the post for the third or fourth time.

I think springfield use to make a 1911 with a full rail (still might I guess), might try checking on that. It's a long shot though.

Les Baer, Fusion, and STI all make them. I am very partial to these right now as well, but am beginning to believe my best bet is to have a Fusion make a whole gun for me.
