My Kimber Stainless II has about 500 rounds through it using 230 grain round nose lead bullets. I have not had a single problem, period. I am a target guy and I wanted a little lighter and more crisp trigger. Stock pull was 4.5 pounds with some "creep". I stoned (red) the hammer notch down to .020" and installed a Wolff 19 pound mainspring. All of this was simple to do and less than $12. I now have a "creep" free trigger that lets go at 3.5 pounds. I am very happy with that. I don't carry, this is strictly a range gun, so the lighter trigger pull is a range thing only. Anyone can do these two mods if so motivated. You don't need a gunsmith. A vice, a red sharpening stone and a .020 feeler gauge is all that is required. I have just reloaded the 230 grain winchester cases to Hornady 200 grain semi wad cutter. As soon as the temperature gets above 20 I am off to the range to see how this cartridge does. This is one sweet gun.

Glad you're happy with your work. Lots of fun and satisfaction, isn't it?

If you're not already aware of it, after any trigger work it's wise to load just one round in the first mag or two, then two rounds, etc. until you're confident the gun's not going to go "rat-a-tat-tat" on you.

There's better, although less exciting, ways to get the snow off the range shelter roof than shooting it off from the inside! :D

I have the Team Match II and it is a awesome pistol. Mine also is used for the range only. All I can say is it is one very accurate pistol.
