Saw an old locked thread about full auto 1911's and figured I'd post this. Downloaded this vid from Bul's site a long time ago and forgot I even still had it. Enjoy http://s62.yousendit.com/d.php?id=3QHFPA58CT4WSB1PGM8EBLVCW

Hey Mariner, tried to log on to the site you posted but got an error message. Is it the site or me?

WOW!! That's something else. I'll bet it's hard to keep on target.

I've seen some full auto 9mm before, the glock 18 if I remember correctly, seemed like if you had the proper grip it was pretty controlable, but I imagine that the .45 would be a bit harder. pretty cool

I didn't see any of those at the last gunshow.Very impressive but I wonder would it be practical?

People would do anything to impress other people. Poor 1911.

FULL AUTO EXPERIENCE - Couple years ago I bought a Kimber Custom TLE. I didn't like the trigger pull so I took the hammer and sear off my Kimber Compact. The Compact's trigger pull is light and crisp. After installing the trigger and sear in the TLE, on an empty gun/chamber I tested to see if the gun is safe to be fired. Off to the range, loaded 5 rds in the mag, loaded the TLE, squeezed the trigger, and 5 rds in full auto. Good thing I was the only one in the range. Saved me from embarrassment.
