Since everyone is at the SHOT Show, I thought I'd show a few pistols that didn't quite make the cut for this year's show:

Pimp Daddy

This is a nickel plated Auto Ordnance with some serious bling for grips.

El General
http://www.berryhillguns.com/elgeneral.jpg
This one is a Colt chambered in .38 Super (of course!) with tasteful gold accents ;) Evidently the front sight was so embarrassed to be seen on this pistol that it jumped off.

Last but not least..........
El Jefe Supremo
http://www.berryhillguns.com/eljefe.jpg
Since it is "The Supreme Chief," this pistol outranks all other pistols. This one is not a Colt. It's actually a Rock Island Armory in polished stainless chambered in (what else?) .38 Super with genuine imitation pearl grips. The prancing pony on the rear of the slide was engraved with the rest of the artwork.

I can't take credit for these (ahem) works of art. :D I just took the photos.

I hope you enjoyed the show!

Very nice pix Dave. Thanks for sharing them.

I just vomited in my mouth. :(

I wish I could say thanks for sharing but I am afraid that I might have nightmares for life. :D

And who said understated elegance is out of style? Sadly, somebody, somewhere will consider these 'da bomb. Or more likely 'La bomba'. But, like an old car salesman told me, "There's a butt for every seat." And, "There is simply no accounting for taste."

"There is simply no accounting for taste."

How true...Some people only have it in their mouth. :eb:
Sorry that was uncalled for heh heh.

I have a feeling I know where these specimens came from...the caliber gives it away.

Thanks; I actually enjoyed some parts of some of those!

Help me out guys. Are those great pictures of ugly guns, or are those lousy pictures of nice guns? I'd rather blame it on the photography, but I have a sinking feeling that I can't.

I suspect Dave actually made those guns or at least bought them. :<) Have any of ya'll ever taken a perfect shot on the first try?

Yes, those are my "goin' out in style" guns. Sometimes I feel like struttin' my stuff so I put on my purple velvet suit, platform shoes and my leopard fedora with a big feather in it. I strap on one of those gats and walk down the street in style! [theme from the movie Shaft playing in the background] :p

Didn't know you were a model too!! You gotta get the cane. (Don't carry it in your gun hand though)

I can't decide if I would rather look at those guns or at a beheading video.

I gotta hand it to you, Dave. A lot of people wouldn't admit to something like that.

El General and El Jefe Supremo were Lew Horton runs, I believe. There were many others--in fact, I think they are still doing those runs. Looks like the El Jefe Supremo slide ended up an orphan...

I think the guys who did those pistols also customize cars in my neck of the woods...
