2 pc. guide rods..whats the benefit

My Para SSP has a full length 1 pc guide rod, and I see alot of the aftermarket Co.'s offer alot of 2 pc. guide rods, some short, some full length.

What is the difference and or benefit to them ?

The 2 piece rod is a bit easier when taking the gun apart. You remove the front section by unscrewing it (generally hex head), then the gun comes apart like an old GI model. Just push in the plug, rotate the barrel bushing......etc.

There is rerally no advantage to a full length GR, all for show.........

Although all my guns have them, I just like the spring riding on something.
