Thank you.

That is the test target that came with the gun. I have not had a chance to put any rounds down range yet.

If it came whit the gun I would be inclined to think that it was at 50 yards, being a 50 RRA 50 yard target. It is absolutely beautiful! If ya don't mind me asking what was the price on that excellent piece of engineering?

Did my wife put you up to that?

Got the chance to put a few rounds down range. Not as much as i would have liked to, but the gun was flawless and was amazingly accurate!

I will post some additional pics and more detailed review later.

The commander has a more rounded carry bevel at the muzzle and dust cover, and the slide serrations do not appear to be as sharp as the Elite Commando:

Aw, Gordon, t'ain't too bad. Cleaning guns is for when a fellow's got nothing better to do.

Thanks for the compliments.

It's only been one night, as those guns were "dirtied" on Saturday, but I did sleep well. Besides it is more fun to get them dirty than it is to clean them.

I see that the rock is clean now, how many RDS do you have through it now, and have there been any problems DTHOMAS? BEST OF LUCK,,,,,,,,,.

I am somewhat ashamed to admit this, but I probably have not fired more than 100 rounds through this gun, yet. So, it is too early to say it has proven itself to be reliable; however, I have had no stoppages so far. Also, this little Rock River may well be the most accurate 1911 I have ever fired, including my other Govt. sized RRA 1911's.

My MARS 1918 and RRA Elite Commando are eating all of my ammo and will not share with this one. It is tough being the runt of the litter, I guess.
