My friend wants to trade his Colt officers model for my Springfield v10 ultra compact. Both are stainless and in very good cond. What should I do here?

Depends on whether you prefer a Colt Officers ACP or a Springfield V10.
Personally, any time I can get a genuine Colt in exchange for a Springfield it's a no-brainer.

It's your decision to make... if it was mine, well, I'd do it. I bought a Springfield XD45 compact last year and it has been a great gun, but it just isn't a Colt. I don't get shortness of breath and tunnel vision while handling it like I do whenever a Colt product is in my hands. Therefore, I have decided that it will be going up for sale whenever I find the right Commander or Officer's ACP to replace it with. Good luck!

If it was me, I would trade him before whatever he is drinking wears off!!! :p Both are very nice pistols, but the Officer's Model would be my first choice.

Get the Colt! You can't beat a SS OACP. :eb:

You're making the right choice. But you need to hope your friend doesn't read this Forum.
