I have a 9mm commander & am wondering what it would take to shoot .38.
Is all i need is a barrel & bushing or are there other things i have to do?
Also are these just drop in parts?
Thanks
Mike

Do you mean Super 38? I know you can change a Super 38 to a 9MM with a barrel and an ejector change.

Barrel and bushing (unless you can find an original Colt "pencil barrel") and magazines at a minimum. Although going the other way (38 > 9mm) the magazines will sometimes work, 9mm magazines have a spacer in the back and you will not be able to load Super .38's into them.
Probably take some extractor tuning.
The ejector was fine on my 38 > 9mm.
Although Nowlin makes a "drop in" barrel and Kart will make an EZ-fit for a Commander on order, they probably will not actually drop in.

That's correct, the Super 38 magazine will accept and feed 9mm, however, Super 38 will not fit in a 9mm magazine.
