Caspian Hi Cap Slide Release

I'm in the middle of building a Caspian Hi Cap in .40 S&W. Having a small issue with the slide release. Seems to be too wide. It hits the ledge inthe frame by the end of the slide stop, at the thumb pad. Does anyone have any tips, or any suggestions for an alternate slide release. The one I'm using is a Wilson Combat, not extended or anything. :scared:

Don't know if they pertain to your gun, but the blueprints in our Tech Issues section might tell you whether it's the slide stop/release or the frame that's causing the problem.

Doubt it was the slide stop, on a single stack it would work fine. Judicious use of a file took care of the issue, I was just wondering if anyone else had built a Caspian Hi Cap and had the same issue.
