Has anyone used this duracoat product on their 1911 or other weapon? If so how good is it really and is it worth doing?

I think there's plenty of opinions of Duracote on this site -- just use the search function above and you'll find it. As I remember, opinions vary about its ease of use and durability.

Also look into CereKote. I have refinished many in both Duracoat & Cerekote. I prefer Cerekote.
