Colt Recon

I am interested if anyone out there has a Recon. Found one today and I almost pulled the trigger. Colt made 400 and this one is #1. New with letter of authenticity. It is all steel, black Commander frame with officers slide. Date of manufacture was 1994 if I remember the letter correctly. It is one of those specials requested by some distributor is my assumption and the size is so right for carry. I have a customized Officers that is one of my favorites so I was throwing this out there for some feedback. I might not sleep 2nite...TW

I don't have one, but if the price is right and you want this pistol, you should always put down some cash on it to assure you can get it.

I don't own one, but was able to touch one at a recent class I attended. Looks nice and a neat tribute, but I didn't care for the squishy rubber grips. My personal preference.

Had one. It went bang reliably but always seemed backwards to me. Officers Frame and Commander slide seems to make more sense to me as a carry piece

Well, TW, you KNOW I'm gonna encourage you to get it! Besides, if you don't like it, you can always sell/trade it away. :eb:
