Question for New Agent Owners

I saw in Colt Forum a post about the recoil spring assy coming apart during use. Claims his has done this twice. I had never heard of the problem and wanted to know if anyone here had either had this problem with theirs or any other recoil guide rod problems..I don't want to start having 2nd thoughts about a carry gun that I really love...Anybody? Help?

I've only put about 400 rounds through my New Agent and 650 through my Defender, but no problems with function what so ever. And, one of our Forum members has over 4,000 rounds through his Defender (same internals as the New Agent) without it coming apart.

I cannot say how many rounds I have through the New Agent I bought from Colt after the ezine review but I have at least a couple of hundred rounds since.
To date no problems with the pistol.

Zero problems on mine and I have lots and lots of rounds through it.

Over 500 rounds so far.......no problems.....never even a misfeed......I do intend to replace the recoil spring assy before the 1000 round mark though.....Luv the New Agent.......want to buy my Walther PPS 9mm????????it's for sale now.....
