Well, I took a dust collector and hopfully traded for a simple 9mm "training" gun today. Same platform as my carry, yet in a cheaper to shoot set up. Looks like a never before toyed with gun. I have that feeling too because the owner cant get HP's to be reliable. Brother, this 30 year old gun aint built to feed HP's. I aint planning on HP's so what do I care

Hope I took a non use and traded for this plinker / less costly / muscle memorie builder :)

Gorgeous.

That's better than a dust collector any day/week/month/year.

Your plinker probably has a higher real dollar value than a comparable .45. Well done.

Very nice, I would say you done good.
Have you tried some new magazines to see if that helps with your JHP feeding trouble?

Here she is to fit in with her brothers.Botched a bushing so midway has an order

I actually may just put a nice dark cocobolo grip set I have. I just dont like the medalions..........yeah - I know there vintage and stock but hey, she's mine ;) :appld: Not got her to the range yet to see how she works with HP's yet.

If you're having trouble with 9mm JHPs and would like a good defensive round that can still expand, try these....

They're +P, but should be ok with your steel frame and an extra power recoil spring.

Nice Commander.

A couple of very nice Commanders -- especially the 9mm. That's a pretty high class plinker.

I'll need a series 70 .45 somehow______someday :eb:

But I am enjoying my Baer too much to go astray too much :lm:

Ran 3 magazines through her this morning. Dang this is a fun gun!!!! I even had an 18# recoil spring in her instead of the stock 16# and still went bang every time! Why did I wait to get one of these:rock:
