sportingarms.com has them brand new at $1379. Just have to decide what new is worth to you. I dont like having used things such as guns cars, dirt bikes ect. If 400 bucks is a big savings to you go for it. I would check the warranty details though. Call les baer and ask if you can still retain the warranty.
Personally i could justify 400 bucks for a new one by feeling better about my purchase. I would rather spend 400 more and be 100 percent happy then spend 1000 and be kinda happy.
Good luck deciding man.

aj Hi Gates, I'm just a poor old country boy from the hills in North Carolina but If you have tried the gun out and everything was good IMHO $400.00 savings is a good savings and if you plan on shooting hard ball ammo then you are set, but if you ever want to shoot some souped up JHP P+ ammo you may should try a few of those also. On a personal note I love the PowR Ball ammo from Cor-Bon in my Kimber Pro Carry SS, Just my .02. BE SAFE

gates, That is not a bad price. Do you know how many round were put through the weapon before the 100 you put through it. How is the finish on it. Do not shoot +p ammo through Les Baer guns, IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
If you like the weapon and you think it is worth the $950.00 I would say get it. It all comes down to what you think. $950.00 probably for any LB is worth it as long as it has not been rode hard and thrown away wet.
Good luck in you decision.

Good luck in you decision. Hi C&L, Where did you find out that you shouldn't shoot P+ in a LB?

Called LB because others on another forum had mentioned it and called also. They advised me it is not recommended to shoot them. Could void the non-stated warranty.
All I can say like I was told is call and ask. Very friendly people to deal with.
Hope this helps ya, Enjoy.

I am so much wanting a Stinger. Cannot decide on Stainless or buying it Blue and letting Tripp Chrome it.
Is Sporting Arms about the cheapest place to purchase from? I bought the TRS through them and saved quite a bit.
Input?

I changed my p2 order from a stainless to hard chrome finish because I was told stainless is a softer metal. All I know is they won't do a 1.5" in stainless because of galling. I think either would be fine but that is just my opinion. If it were me I would just order it with the hard chrome finish. I would be interested in seeing what others have to say.
After seeing other guns I like the hard chrome finish.

pajohnohio - Let us know which way you went on your "Stinger Quest". If you want my vote - I would get the Blued gun, let it age a little (or a lot) and then decide if you liked the worn-in look or want it refinished. IMHO a worn-in blued gun just looks "right". The only problem I could see is if you lived in a very salty/humid climate.
As for Sporting Arms - That's where I ordered my PII from. I looked around the 'net, but couldn't beat their prices. They provided good service and quick delivery.
