saw a 38 mid range today for 1200 at the local gun show, of course i had nowhere near 1200 on me. :( saw quite a few colts i wouldnt mind taking home but im saving for a reloading press.

Man that is a good price on the Mid Range (if it was in good condition).
Temptation is everywhere but a reloading press is a good investment.

it was in really good shape, didnt look like it had been fired much. believe me i was trying to think of ways to aford it. my only purchase was a set of dies, the only deal i could actually aford. saw a few S&W mid range guns for decent prices too.

If you shoot much at all, a reloading press will help you have extra dollars to spend for more pistols! Although you will begin to shoot more frequently. I used to shoot a few times per year. I used to shoot maybe 500 rounds per year. Now I usually shoot around 500 rounds per month and try to get to 3 shoots per month. The only thing I am not doing that I should do is a range trip occasionally just to practice at a leisurely pace. I am always in some sort of shoot that requires a timer, scoring and did you miss the shot.

That's a good price on a Mid Range. Too bad you couldn't get it.
Hopefully it had a correct Colt magazine. Those guns are just expensive paperweights without a working magazine.
