Finally,
I started this project sometime in Feb. Took it slow and easy, and bought parts as I could afford to. This is what I ended up with for my limited ten package. Les Baer frame and slide, front and rear serrations,front strap checkering, Bomar rear, EGW front fiber optic. Wilson Combat Match Barrel/Bushing. A host of other W/C parts, along with, Ed Brown, STI, Infinity, Cyl. Slide, S/A magwell that I opened up even further, Swenson safety. Cycled roughly 400 rounds through it to make sure everything was seated and up to par. Shot 1.5 to 2.0" at 23 meters, which is max at the indoor range. This was setting on the magwell for stability. Still need to do an actual rest test. But I was happy with the results. Then I shipped it off to Nighthawk for a Black over Sniper Gray Perma-Kote finish. Was delivered to me Thursday. Robert Chaney did a wonderful job on it IMHO. Pics coming real soon.
