This is a 1965 National Match Gold Cup. Less than 500 rds through it.
One of my very favorite Colts. Shoots like a dream. :D

Thanks guys.
I'm sorry the picture is a little dark, makes it hard to see the pistol. It's in almost new condition.
I need to work on my photographic skills... :o

Hard to believe that your pistol is over 40 years old and still looks almost as good as the day it was first sold.

Bill,
1965 was a memorable year for me as I started the first grade! I wish I was holding up as well as your Gold Cup! :D

Great GC and very good shooter! I think you've had it long enough to use it a little more often now. Don't think you'll wear it out.

Thanks again to all of you for the kind remarks! :)
And yes, the GCNM will be going to the range again soon.

It's an O.K. picture. It lets us use our memory to fill in the dark spots. That is one great gun.

Nice gun. I'm especially impressed with that one jagged hole it made.

Made when Colt's quality was at its best.
Fine gun.
