Anybody have any gold , silver , platinum , brass or pewter grips they'd like to show off ? I know that Wicked Grips makes some beautiful Damascus steel grips too . What brought this to mind was that a forum member , triehl27 posted a pic of his new brass grips . What I'm really looking for is something like triehl27's brass grips to add weight to our Kimber Rimfire Super , he said they add at least 8-9 oz to each grip which seems about the right weight . Gold , silver , platinum and even Damascus steel grips are out of my price range so I guess that narrows it down to something like brass and pewter . But I'd like to see any metal grips that you have and would like to share with us . I hope triehl27 doesn't mind my using his brass grips to start the thread off with .

Hmm, I inherited a set of grips made from sterling silver with gold inlay. I'll try to get a suitable photo made in a day or two.

Here are some sterling silver with gold inlay grips. The earliest I can positively date them is middle 1950's. They have come down through the family and were originally made for Sheriff Garrison of Hill County Texas. They are currently on my 9mm Colt Cbt Cdr.
