I'm looking at a used RIA 1911, which is considerably inexpensive.
The standard sights of course are not up to par. I want to buy new sights. What cut are the rear sights? Standard? Would that mean a gunsmith would only charge me for cutting the front sight slot and installing the new sights?
I find it awkward that 1911's have so many different cuts for sights. Standard, Novak, Heinie, Bomar...
