the screw in the trigger is for overtravel it wont adjust pull weight
can some one tell me what direction to turn the adjustment screw. to increase trigger pull? The screw on the trigger, as mentionned has nothing to do with the trigger pull weight, which is not adjustable on a 1911. That screw adjusts overtravel, i.e. how much your trigger will move, after it releases the sear. Too much overtravel is not good since it makes your trigger reset more time-consuming, too little is also no good because (a) you risk to have too little trigger travel, thus the gun may not fire, and (b) with too little overtravel, you are actually pressing on the "frame" while the bullet is still in the barrel, thus causing some loss of point of aim (this is not mine, it comes from a top IPSC shooter, it was mentionned in American Handgunner).
So adjust it to allow a little travel, after the sear breaks and then Loctite it into place.
The trigger pull weight in a 1911, is affected by the interaction of the hammer/sear hooks, it is what we call a trigger job and it's something you should leave up to your gunsmith, unless you know darn well what you are doing.

thats the problem there is no play.you put your finger on the trigger.boom.
I think it need a little play.thanks
Nope, this is, again, a different issue. If there is no free travel, before the trigger breaks, it means that the trigger is a little too long. There should be some play there, but again, that play is not affected by the overtravel screw, but by the length of the bow of the trigger.
