Doug Turnbull Colt 1911 grips

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these grips something does' look right I can't put my finger on it.

the diamonds look too far apart. maybe its just me

And their lower edge is not cut right. Or it maybe the picture. Also, look at the way the large, lower diamonds are cut. Ugly.

The cut for the magazine catch (release) is not right. It is cut or shaped like a half moon. It should be a little elongated to accomodate the mag catch.

The beveling of the bottom is uneven. I'm not sure if the cut for the MSH pin is okay. Can't see further. The pic kinda gets cut.

all in all-if you paid good $$ for these- get it back and go else where.
