View Full Version : Anyone using the Ed Brown Wide thumb safety?

I'm doing a custom build and was giving some thought to the wide ed brown thumb safety. Anyone here using it that has any input? Pictures would be awesome. I have never actually seen them on a gun. Thanks!

Here are some pics as promised. I am using the EB wide safety on a NH Dominator. I love it on a target gun, on a carry piece it would be awkward.

It provides a nice gas pedal on the strong side, but the other side interferes with my trigger finger. If I had one on a gun currently, I'd contour the off-side lever to look like the narrow, "tactical" version.
