Whats your favorite extended tactical thumb saftey? i am planning on replacing my ambi saftey on my springfield micro with a single side extended.
Wich one do you find most comfortable to ride while shooting?

I wish I had an answer to give you.
I have been using Wilson safeties on my pistols, because I like their width (not too wide). Unfortunately, if I leave them as they come from the factory, their forward end is touching an area of my thumb that doesn't like the touch. So I always shorten them, which means that they need to be refinished if we are talking about the blue ones.
I like the shape of the one that Colt uses on their new Combat Elite, but I have no idea where you can find it.

I sort of lean toward the Ed Brown when I have a choice. But I find pretty much any of the major brands, Wilson, Ed Brown, Les Baer, etc., work fine for me.

Larry Vickers specified the Wilson Narrow for our pistolsmithing class:

The Wilson narrow has worked for me on a couple of pistols. However, the safety (also narrow) on my Ed Brown JCC feels fine to0. But heck, I even kinda like the old WWI M1911 stock safety, so what do I know :)?
