Does anyone know where I can find one? I want to put a commander hammer on my SA GI and not alter the frame permanently or have the gap from the Wilson drop in beavertail. I've been looking around and haven't found one, is this something I have to do myself or can they be bought from somewhere? Any suggestions as to a solution?

#204 King's Wide Grip Safety for Commander, Colt Officers & Springfield Arm. Gov't Model w/ Commander Hammer Specify S/S or Blue, Series 70 or 80 $35.95

If that doesn't work, you can get a factory Colt commander grip safety(which is basically a notched GI safety) and use that.

You can buy the Colt Commander grip safety from Colt or from the Brownells factory parts section. I think the Colt part number for the Model 1991 Commander grip safety (matte blue finish) is SP54609B. Don't get the one for the XSE model.
