Has anyone tried these screws? They are found in the latest catalog. The grips on this Series 70 are just a tad loose :( I expect the Ivory has shrunk just enough to add a bit of movement. :( I am trying to decide whether they would tighten up with shorter screws or not. Brownells will not commit to an answer. I really do not want to use this piece with loose grips. :( Anyone tried the shorter screws?
THANKS!!!

I would think that rather than shorter screws, you
need to change for bushings made for thin grips.

FXWG- I thought about that but the screws bottom out on the bushing threads which lead me to believe shorter screws might do the trick?

Perhaps some O-Rings on the screws. Works for stocks that loosen up, should take up the space and not put undue stress on the Ivory.

Nice looking pistol BTW.

That should do it. ;)

Duck- THAT, was my first thought. I picked some up but ran into those short screws before I could use them. I think I will try them first. :) THANKS!!
