i would like to know if it is possible to sensitize a grip safety. where as it would be easier for a small hand to activate it. i hope this is the right place to ask this. the technical part doesnt have a place to ask this question. so i quess i will find out.

Yes, the amount it has to be depressed can be adjusted, if it's a Kimber SeriesII or a S&W however, it's a little more tricky as the grip safety should release the firing pin block prior to releasing the trigger. It's a good idea to list the gun make and model as there can be differences.

Also, you don't say if you have a standard smooth grip safety or one with a bump on it - if you have a standard one that's smooth where your palm contacts it, aftermarket ones are available with a bump at the bottom that allows for more positive engagement.
