. . .with the meaning of the boxed-in data below ".490R TRUE" on this slide blueprint:

The data in the box seems to locate the center of the 0.490" radius of the top of the slide in relation to "F". "F" is the reference line which locates the center of the hole for the barrel and bushing and its location is given elsewhere.

The curved top of the slide rises slightly from front to back, so the curve's center must also rise from front to back. And the specification for that rise is, I'm quite sure, contained in that box.

Of particular interest is the meaning of the 3 horizontal lines in the left side of the rectangular box.

If you are familiar with blueprint symbols, your help will be appreciated.
