I am building my 2nd 1911 A1 and I will be parkerizing it in my kitchen. I would like to know if this Gun Kote, specifically the matte black aerosol spray from Brownells can be applied on top of the parkerized surface. If so what does it look like? Also, is this the same product that Ed Brown, Wilson, Kimber and Springfield offer to apply to their pistols? Thanks.
