I would like to ask if what radius is this?
What beavertail can I install on this frame without adding extra metal, I hate tig-welding.

HOw to measure the radius? Can you give exact details or illustrations?
Thanks.

The radius quoted is from the center of the thumb safety pin hole to the perimeter. One way is to visualize the center and measure to the edge. More accurate is to measure the hole diameter divide by two and add to the distance from the edge of the hole to the perimeter. It looks to be .250", but then it could be Wilson/Nowlin which is a compound radius. Since you have a beaver tail already why not file it higher if that's what you're after. Tig welding is fun!

I'm confused. The pistol in the picture is not the Norinco, correct? Is the pistol in the picture used to illustrate a beavertail you'd like to install on the Norinco?
If so, no welding should be required, only filing, stoning & polishing. Whichever beavertail you select, the Brown-type constant-radius or Wilson-type compound radius, the correct inexpensive hardened steel jig is available to facilitate filing the proper curve.
I've done it, so it ain't so hard :).

It is a norinco, it is the model norinco police.
It has already a beavertail installed out from factory, the only problem is, the said beavertail is quite loose, the radius of the said beavertail is different from the .250 radius of Ed Brown beavertail, so I do not know if what kind of beavertail I will install on it as replacement.

I don't know if Norinco's run loose on thier tolerances, but it may be worth verifying the spec on the ambi safety shaft and the frame opening too.. hate for you to go to all the trouble of replacing the grip safety with another only to discover that the reason it's loose is slop in other parts. I bring this up because I got a junker Llama for study purposes, and the tolerances are so loose that some aftermarket parts will never fit tight..

I have no idea about the radius yours has, but I have installed two Wilson BTGS on Norincos, one freehand and the other using the Ed Brown .250 Jig and fit was very nice and no slop.
