Hi,
I have read one post where a fellow switched his 38 super to 9mm. He changed a lot of parts, costing $850.00. Is it not possible to just change a 38 super barrel to 9mm and change magazines? Thanks in advance?

With luck, you would not even have to change your magazines. I have fired many 9mm FMJ rounds from .38 Super magazines, with little or no problems.

Depending on the diameter of the barrel, you might need another bushing. I like to have separate bushings for each barrel, in any case.

Extractors will usually work, as will ejectors. The .38 Super ejector is shorter thant the 9mm ejector, and theoretically will not be as reliable. Nothing to worry about in a range gun, though.

Some times, some thing needs a little tweaking, but it is possible to change just by changing barrel, for range use only.
