clark custom: what can you tell me?

Checking out Clark custom. Anyone have one?

I just thought I would second this.

I have a clark custom .22 and if anyone told me they owned a better .22 auto I would have to call them a liar.

However I have not heard nor seen anything about thier M1911 except for on thier website so I was hoping someone out here would be able to share some personal experience.

I dont have one(cost) but I've always been a big fan. I like how they often prefer to maintain a very "G.I." look to their pistols while providing modern components . If I was gonna drop 1700 bucks on a pistol I'd be seriously considering a Clark Custom. Probably the Hardball model. Then again the Heavy Slide model is also a very righteous choice.

I've bought parts from them..All top of the line.Never a complaint.They are one of the best around.

I've never seen one of their "full house" customs, but I have shot a few guns that they had worked on and the work was great.
