Colt 1991A1 rail thickness ?

I was looking at my ORM 1991A1 today. The right side rail (the one without the slide stop notch and the the safety notch) is visibly thinner then the other side rail. I got my micrometer out and the rail with the notches in it is .150 in thick and the rail without the notches is .136 in thick. Is this normal. I don't have another 1911 to compare this one with. Thanks.

no one can measure their 1991A1 ORM? I'm starting to get worried :)

I measured mine today and there was a few thousands difference between the two rails. I don't think .014" difference will cause you any troubles.
