Found a MK/IV Series 80 Gov't model going for $550. Rosewood grips, 10rd mag, box. Seller states pistol was not used much. A picture he sent me shows wear on the pistol. Might be from the holster. Any who.........What do you guys think of the price. I'll see if I can get that picture up.

A lot depends on the wear. There are plenty of holster worn late model Colts in the $400. - $600. price range. They amy be excellent shooters, good carry or nightstand type guns to have but you can buy a brand new one for $703. delivered

The 10 round mag is an aftermarket thing. So far as I know Colt doesn't and hasn't made those. You'd be buying the gun with no magazines, might as well say as the 10 rounders stick down almost 2" out of the grip frame.

Like my colleages above say, some pics would really help ;). It's just going to be really
hard to get a bead on the "value" without some understanding of it's condition. $550 could be a very good price if it actually "has not been used much". But, like Hill says,
you can buy a NIB model, with correct mags, box, papers, etc. for around 700 clams :).
