I want to buy meprolight night sights (I like Kimber's mepro NS) on my Norinco full size and on my Griffon Commander. I am going to buy online and send to a gunsmith to dehorn and to add the NS on it when they reblue it. My question is what size do I need to buy for them - Tenon Front sight post .055? .125? Thanks!

If you're going to that extent, why not have the gunsmith dovetail both for the same front sight??
I'd get two of the same size fronts in a common size(like .330 x 60 degree) and have them milled the same cut rather than staking one and replacing the Griffon dovetail.

I concour. Although If you do go with a stake on front sight the norinco uses the narrow tenon, .055 sight stem. Bruce
