In between some house jobs, I have been looking around my safe, (call it displaced activity) ,played around with some stocks I have, and updated pics of my Colt Custom.
Want to take a look?

Well, enough wasting time, let's get back to the honey-do list........... :nono:

Neat!
The checkered cloth and different lighting give an unfair advantage to the ivory grip photo, making the pistol with ivory appear more appealing than with the dark stocks making me wonder if this isn't in response to my postings in Landman's Officer model thread?
Or am I simply exhibiting the gross self centeredness and paranoia for which I've garnered fame and fortune far greater than any talents or accrued skills would normally warrant?
Well, enough wasting time, I've got to get back to my honey-do task-of- the-day agenda.
Thanks Paul - Great Looking PISTOLS!!

Very nice photos... and a beautiful Colt too! :appld:
I couldn't pick a favorite set of those stocks... both are outstanding on your Colt Custom.
I'm glad you became "diverted" from that "honey-do list"!!! :D

Thanks everyone!
Try and set your screws like in the first pic I must of had the OCD spiked and didn't know it!!
eli and jasnake65....some older custom shop runs used those type of medallions. For example, there is a DEA commemorative series 70 Gold Cup at a local shop from '80 that has those medallion stocks on it.

Very nice, Paul. Both sets of stocks are very nice, but I think I like the corian just a tad more.
I don't think I've ever shown this picture of the forum here. The pearl stocks really never are on this pistol, the black rubber ones are the ones that live on it. I know they're ugly, but they are what I keep on it since I do try to shoot with this pistol from time to time. A guy at work was rippin' on me about having a pimp pistol and asked where the pearl stocks were so I ordered them to shut him up.
