2 Questions for you Ed Brown owners...

One - I like to use the sights on my guns where I COVER the target with the dot on the front sight. Do the fixed sight Ed Browns work that way - or do you have to do the 6 o'clock technique (where it hits right above your sight).

Also - how is the satin stainless finish holding up for you guys? Any scratches/marks around the ejection port?

Shipwreck , you're a man after my own heart as they say . No one will ever be able to say you didn't do your research . I'm the same way , I spent so much time researching that I actually started dreaming about them even to the point of disassembling them in my sleep .

I truly hope you end up with your perfect pistol , if anyone deserves to it's you . I'm sure you're keeping notes , if not you'll find yourself asking the same question over again . I wish I'd of kept all my notes so I could PM them to you but I figured it was a once in a life time purchase so I discarded them .

The sights on all my EB's shoot to poa, if not a tiny bit lower at 25 yards. But most fixed sight guns shoot low for me. I despise the 6 o'clock hold anyway so it works. However, I also like a black rear sight and a dot or tritium dot on the front so I started switching the rear out with the YoBo heritage rear at it puts POI right where the dot is.
