There have been a number of very questionable origin "Colt" pistols brought here by owners or prospective buyers who are in the Philipines.

I'd have to say that the best advise anyone could give you is "Be VERY careful before putting your money down" or something on that vein.

NM as in 1930's age gun? If so I would make certain it is the real deal and not a counterfit before putting down the considerable sum of cash those go for.

I would at least check the SN with Colt.

Also, do you have anybody local in the gunsmith area who you trust and could look at it?
