Just got my second CCC. It has some neat bells and whistles on it. Appreciate feedback on the setup.

Great lookin' Commander, Butch! Looks like a winner to me.
I like the solid looking bushing. I don't think you could go wrong with the pistol's "set-up".

Plan on taking it to the range next week. I'll try a number of factory loads as well as some of my handloads.

Some of the modifications and improvements made to the Commander are:

• STI Extended Thumb Safety.
• McCormick grip safety.
• McCormick Tactical Mag Catch [mag release].
• Wilson Full Length Guide Rod / Plug [SS].
• EGW Oversized slide stop [blue].
• EGW Barrel Bushing: .705" OD, .580" Angled bore ID [blue].
• EGW hard sear & long disconnector.
• Brownell’s all steel arched MSH [blue].
• Burn’s Custom Pistol short aluminum hard use solid trigger.
• Work by Frank Glenn of Accuracy Unlimited in Az:
o Slide milled for Kimber sight cuts.
o Ejection port lowered / flared.
• Barrel re-throated and polished, ejector polished by Chuck Lutz [formerly a Kimber custom smith].
• TruGlo TFO sights w/ Kimber cuts installed, front & rear. Pic below.

That tru-glo front sight require slide be modified for install?

Yep, the slide has to be dovetailed. But they are great. The pic below doesn't do them justice.
