Which site for Gold Cup

Just bought a series 80 Colt GC in 45 SS. The Elliason sight won't adjust down anymore as it has reached the receiver so I'm shooting low.

I don't care for the sight anyway.

What site does this forum recommend?

From what I've seen, all the replacement sights will be of similar height.
Is the gun shooting too low or too high?
If it's shooting low, you want to move the rear sight upwards, if it's shooting high then it goes down.
If you need it to shoot lower yet then a higher front sight would be needed.

If you're shooting low, the rear sight needs to be raised.

I'm an idiot! With over 40 years shooting experience my thought process went backwards.

You're right. The site is fine I just got reversed thinking and went down on the rear site.

Must be age.
