Ambi Safety

I purchased a base model Springfield Armory and had some work done on it that included the installation of an ambi safety. How do I remove the safety to disassemble the 1911?

The right hand grip panel holds the right side (as viewed when you're looking down the sights) of the thumb safety in.

Remove the right grip panel, wiggle the right side of the safety out and then remove the left side of the safety as you would if it wasn't an ambi.
