I have been having double feeding problems with my Les Baer TRS. It double feeds regulary with ball ammo and Baer magazines so I avoid ball and my LSWC reloads have been 100% untill today. Of course it happens in the middle of a USPSA match and the thing double feeds with LSWC and a Wilson magazine. I case gauge all my reloads so I can't blame the ammo or the magazine. Could it be a brass problem? What can it be? Extractor tention can play a role from what I understand. I am guessing the round gets picked up by the slide and the extractor grabs the round and carries it into the chamber. Am I to believe if the extractor tention is too loose, it does not grab the rim with enough bite and then it passes past the rim causing the problem? HELP!! Do I need a tool to adjust the extractor tention? Thanks, Sammy

When I think of double feed I see an unfired round in the chamber and a second round lodged against it. This is a mag releasing a round by inertia and the second by the rail.

If by double feed you mean a failure to extract and a stoppage when the next round can't chamber then the extractor likely needs more tension or the hook has lost it's shape.
