Please help me figure out which is the most durable of the spray on finishes. Ive no experience with any of them. I have air compresser and spray guns/air brush so application is no problem, Ive got blessings to use the oven so baking is no problem. out of all the different ones out there which holds up the best to use?
TIA. Ken

Dura Coat works good. I let it dry for a week dont need to bake it. I have tried Gun-Kote and Baking Lacquer. Now I sand blast, parkerize then put on a spray finish.

Yes that is Duracoats 3 color ACU Camo pack. I made my own stencils and airbrushed it. Took me 3 days to complete it.

Just printed some grids an MS Excel cut random with x-acto and used masking tape to hold it down. also used random masking tape squares to beak it up.

cutting the grids I understand... but how do tape them to the rifle? when you do that... you cover a portion of the grid you just cutted. unless... you put the masking tape in the back of the grid?

I just cut tape with good square edges or long skinny pieces that matched the grid and allowed them to overlap and become pat of the stencil, on corners or when thier was a long thin area into the center of the stencil I would use a hole punch then cover the hole with tape to hold it in place.
I dont mean to HiJack this thread you can send me PM's if you have more questions.
Let's allow this to get back to the original question.
