12th June 2005, 00:47
It's not your fault, one of your XX chromosomes has a broken leg......just kidding.......besides you're 3000 miles away at a nice safe distance...lol The last time my dad got in one of the safes I ended up with banged up wood grips sweaty fingerprints on lots of the long guns and all sorts of stuff moved and dumped here and there. It's probably genetic. hee hee heeeeee........ :D :D

Ever the typical male, just thought I might get to fondle something strange and new, but 3000 miles is streching it a little.
Maybe we'll meet someday and I'll show you mine if you show me yours :D :D --I do have a relatively large selection also.
Joni Lynn
12th June 2005, 01:26
I love looking at guns.......shooting them is also way up there on my list. Most of my handguns are revolvers. But I have a fair share of auto loaders of different types. :)

I'm with you there! I missed the big Indy Gun and Knife show last week because I might break down and buy something I really don't want. I am saving as much as I can to get that one special 1911, whatever it may be. :)

I have enough set aside to pay off the Les baer when it's finished. Aside form that, the gun shows and stores are off limits right now.

Saving my pennies so Stan Chen at Legacy Custom can work his magic on my XSE lightweight commander( 'course that's still about 3 years in the future until his schedule opens up)
In the meantime I'll just have to suffer thru with a full custom Caspian, a C&S commander, a Dave Helton Springfield full size and a Kimber 40 Compact Stainless-shades of CDP in a 1st series gun by him.
The Caspian and a STI 2011 are the real play guns.
I might also try to sneak into line for some of Ned Christensen's magic finger work.
Actually, Joni Lynn, your toys are safe and I'll keep mine on this coast.

I always knew my toys were safe.......as are yours. My tastes usually run a bit different from most peoples. Types of guns that I really like I don't mind having several of, all just a little different in some way.

I really enjoyed the entire LouderThanWords group and will support all of their endeavors--see www.louderthanwords.us -- Joni Lynn, with your luck you could likely win the LTW 2 coming up on raffle pretty quick. Everything goes to good causes and I'll be donating $$$ as well as some parts I've already kicked in for a future build by the masters that started the group.
Visit and enjoy!!!!

I'm a little (actually a lot) confused. Combining several threads, Tom is supposedly a self-cleaning genius carbon based ET squid, who is not logical, has (or is) nuts. He enjoys being dipped in hot oil by women and is probably the reason his better half doesn't have any marbles left?
Now, if we find out he has an evil twin, could we make a TV show out of this?

And yes, I read binary, so I get the meaning of the number. In fact, I've been known to teach binary in impromtu situations, like when driving. For example, if someone cuts me off, I'll raise my hand show them the binary value for "4". ;)

I think the Mountain Dew is making Tom a little violent. Maybe we should replace it with something not as strong...say...Jack Daniels? :)
Joni Lynn

I think we'll let Carole take care of the Mt Dew problem. Or.......perhaps she cut him off of it and that's causing his aggresive behavior.......The Dark Lord of the Sith ...Darth Tom!!

It's not the Dew, but the lack of that will make me violent.

If you really wanna be an awake drunk you gotta do a Jagerbomb, or something like that. The one I'm waiting to try is the new Budweiser energy drink, I also heard you can mix that like you can mix other energy drinks now that sounds fun.

I love my wife - over the last 25 years she has not complained once about the guns, ammo, range fees, etc... She even goes to the range from time to time. Hi TheProf-Tx, You are just bragging and we all know it, you lucky guy. Oh by the way does your wife have a like minded sister? Just kidding!! BE SAFE
