The question below started from a dialoge here:

About 2 ParaUSA firearms I was/am thinking of getting.

Added some additional comments and was advised it would be best to have the "holster question" posted in here.

Thus this post.

Any truth to the "VM2 available from Milt Sparks for about $100." as it being the best for Inside Waist Band carry?

Thanks!

I prefer the Horseshoe Leather holsters, personally.

Sparks and Inside Waist Band go together like Chevrolet and Corvette. :)

My daily carry holster is a Sparks Summer Special II. The only reason I haven't tried the VM2 is the SS2 that I have works so well. By all accounts, the VM2 deserves its reputation. If I was holster shopping it would be on my short list.

The hard part is that a holster, especially an IWB holster, is a lot like a pair of shoes. It's a very personal thing. I've had a good deal of experience with both the Horseshoe Leather 62L (which is a lot like the Milt Sparks SSII) and the Milt Sparks VM2. They are both excellent. But personally, I find that the VM2 suits me a somewhat better.

Whether the VM2 is "the best" will always be debatable. But it is certainly one of the best, and would always be right near the top of my list.
