It took a little tweaking, and a different mag, but my old AO is now feeding 185 gr. SWC reliably, and is firing them very accurately. :D

I tested the Kahr built AO 1911A1 for the some time back, at first it did not like JHP or SWC but when I switched to the Checkmate magazines the pistol ran everything flawlessly.

I have been using the Hornaday 200gr SWC with three different factory mags. The old style with the arched feed ramp with dimple with out any issues for the last 2 years in my AO. I still like this 1911 over my Colt 1991 GVT.
