Hello all,

I apologize if this has been covered, but I did a quick search and didn't find anything.

I have recently purchased a Nova SFA Viskers kit to mod one of my TM m1911a1 pistols. The kit is of impeccable fit and finish, however the adjustable sights have one slight issue: The front sight sits loosely in its slot, and there is no included method for keeping it put.

I was thinking of coating the bottom of the sight itself with hot glue or perhaps some epoxy, letting it dry and then inserting it into the sight slot and hope the friction would take care of it. Are there any better alternatives? Anyone else run up against this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Nope, I haven't but these are not real guns, so if you can find some red Loctite, it should do it.

Thanks John,

I ended up using a little rubber cement on both sides. I waited a moment or two, and then slid the front sight in. It worked great! So far I've run all over the place, kept it holstered, and shot off several hundred bb's and it hasn't budged. I think the friction plus the rubber cement made a nice solid (yet removable) bond!
