Colt 1911 ?

I just traded a safe queen for a Colt 45 pistol and rig. I have gone through the site and tried to figure out exactly what I have. Any thing you can add will be appreciated.
I think this is correct. 1911-1918 Colt 45

Refinished
wrong grips (?)
lack of "US Property" mark
Good:
all proper parts

Looks good to me. I'd get the US Property marking redone, refinishing only as required and have a sound piece. Let the collectors quibble over the details.

if just for a shooter why do anything to it. if going to sell, then do any re-work needed for better price
