Latest Colt find!

Last Friday Paul Yunker and myself decided to go gunstore looking. And at the first stop on our adventure our favorite local hangout I stumbled on to a few rare gems. The first thing I bought was a ANIB Colt Match 10. I purchased the gun with no questions asked. The Colt Match 10 was one of those Custom Shop runs for one of the distributors. It was limited in production. Since Paul all ready had one he didn't put up much of a fight when I purchased it. Any how he was looking at the 30+ Pythons they had in . And well let's just say he didn't end up empty handed.... :)

Well the other gem I found was a Nib Colt Elite 10/40. I had to put that one on layaway. I will post pictures once I get it out .Needless to say , Paul didn't go down so quietly on this one. :bf:

Yes, Gun is 100% original Anib condition. Most of the 10mm offerings from Colt came with the rubber grips with Delta medallion. ;)

Wow! I'd never heard of a Match 10. I loves black guns!

I passed on a Delta Elite two weeks ago. It had been brought in for the dealer's "Buying Colt Guns" sign (he has a little billboard sign on the road that he changes his wants on about once a month, and it seems to work).

Anyway, I decided that the last thing I need was another caliber. Went for another look yesterday and the pistol is, of course, gone.

At some point the Colt's will start a Colt gravity well of their own and begin to attract other nice Colt's. They may also start using your checkbook and credit cards on their own as well.

Boy oh boy! A 40 Cal Colt? I wouldn't mind getting one of those. I get tons of 40 cal brass and right now, I don't load or shoot 40 cal. 30 Pythons? :eek: I'd lose my mind and my wallet going shopping with you!

Well, to avoid confusion you don't call 10mm '.40 cal.' .40 S&W you might say is '10mm Short'.

What is the exact model name of that 10mm Delta pistol? Is it really 'Match 10'? Can you show a picture of the label on the end of the box?

Yes, Dave your correct the pistol comes with both a 10mm and .40 barrel and magazines for both. I hope to have it in my hands with in the next several weeks.... :D
